起(Qi): to ascend or to rise

 

起伏(QiFu): up and down

其根在腳(QiGenZaiJiao): the root (of Jin)  is at the feet

氣(Qi):

1)Chi, the energy pervading the universe and the life energy circulating in the human body, its nature is bioelectric;

2)air, Qi of breathing

氣遍身軀(QiBianShenQu): to circulate Qi around the entire body

氣遍身軀不少滯(QiBianShenQuBuSaoZhi): to circulate Qi around the entire body without slight stagnation

氣沉(QiChen): the Qi is sunken; to sink the Qi

氣沉丹田(QiChenDanTian): the Qi is sunken to the (lower) Dan Tian; to sink the Qi to the Dan Tian

氣功(QiGong): breathing exercise; Chi Kung, a type of Gongfu training which specializes in building up the Qi circulation in the body for health and/or martial purposes.

氣海(QiHai): Qi Ocean, the acupuncture cavity under the navel

氣力(QiLi): Jin, Qi is inner energy while Li is muscular power. Qi Li means to manifest the inner energy into physical power

氣脈(QiMai): Qi vessels or channels

氣舍(QiShe): Qi’s Dwelling; Implies the Lower Dan Tian.

氣勢 imposing manner; the energy state, the manifestation of internal  power

起式(QiShi): starting form, commencing form

氣收斂入骨(QiShouLianRuGu): to condense the Qi into the spine bone

其樞在脊(QiShuZaiJi): The hinge is on the spine.

其樞在腰(QiShuZaiYao): The hinge is on the waist.

氣貼背(QiTieBei): the Qi circulates against the back

氣息(QiXi): Qi breathing, breath

氣下沉(QiXiaChen): the Qi sinks downward; the sinking downward of the Qi

氣血(QiXue): Qi blood, which can not be separated from each other according to the Chinese medicine.

氣騰然(QiTengRan): Qi upraising and excited

氣為旗(QiWeiQi): the Qi is the massage flag (i.e. 媒介media)

乾(Qian): one of the Eight Trigrams which corresponds to heaven
